Board of Administrative Appeals
Four (4) current openings
- The Board hears administrative appeals dealing with Municipal Code interpretations
- Consists of 5 members and 4 alternate members, each serving 4-year terms
- Three (3) of the alternate members shall have experience in the building construction trades and/or training in the California Code of Regulations
- Meets on the first Thursday of the month at 4:00 p.m.
- Must be City resident
- Members of the Board of Administrative Appeals are required to file an annual "Statement of Economic Interest"
To be considered for this volunteer position, a completed application must be received in the office of the City Clerk.

Parks & Recreation Commission
Three (3) Full term vacancies
One (1) Partial term vacancy
- The Commissioners serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council in matters pertaining to Parks and Recreation functions.
- Surveying all current and future public and private recreation facilities.
- Recommend coordinated recreation programs for the City.
- Survey current and future park and recreational needs of the community to provide a sound and year-round recreational program for all ages.
- Must be a resident of the City of Antioch.
- 7 member board - 4 year terms
- Meetings are held the fourth Thursday of the month at 7:00 p.m.

Police Crime Prevention Commission
Two (2) current vacancies
- Involved in Neighborhood Watch groups and programs
- 5 members (plus a crime commissioner coordinator)
- Must be City resident (Must not be a full-time police officer)
- Meetings are held the third Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M barring holidays at which time the meeting will be held the following Wednesday.

Planning Commission
One (1) Partial term vacancy
- The Commissioners makes decisions and recommendations to the City Council on land use, zoning and General Plan issues.
- Must be a resident of the City of Antioch
- Meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m.
- 7 member board – 4 year terms. This term expires October 2015.
- Members of the Planning Commission are required to file an annual "Statement of Economic Interest".
