The Planning Division is responsible for the development and administration of programs to guide the physical development of Antioch, utilizing the General Plan, a variety of Specific Plans and the City’s Zoning Ordinance for policy guidance. The Division provides design and environmental review of development proposals and general public information services.

The Division provides the Planning Commission and the City Council with analyses and recommendations on development applications.
