  2. REQUEST FROM THE CONTRA COSTA COUNTY FIRE DISTRICT FOR GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENTS ADDING AND DELETING LOCATIONS FOR FUTURE FIRE STATIONS AND A USE PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT A NEW FIRE STATION AT VARIOUS LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE CITY (GP-00-1 AND UP-00-41/A)

Recommended Action:  

  1. Motion to adopt the Negative Declaration as being adequate (ND-01-1);

  2. Motion to adopt the Resolution approving a General Plan amendment adding and deleting locations for future fire stations throughout the City; and

  3. Motion to adopt the Resolution approving a Use Permit to construct a new fire station located on the south side of Bluerock Drive and west of the East Bay Municipal Utility District (EBMUD) right-of-way (Assessor's Parcel Number 072-012-089). - Resolution 2001/48, 5/0 to approve #1; #2C (Bluerock Drive); approve deletion of #'s "F" and "G"; Council requested a proposal to increase the fee per new house be included in the General Plan

PUBLIC HEARING RESPECTING THE CONTENTS OF THE ENGINEER'S REPORT FOR CITY OF ANTIOCH STREET LIGHTING AND LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT (REORGANIZED ASSESSMENT DISTRICT, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS, DETERMINATION OF PARCELS SPECIALLY BENEFITTED, ESTIMATED COST AND EXPENSE OF PROPOSED IMPROVEMENTS FOR FY 2001-2002, AMOUNTS OF INDIVIDUAL ASSESSMENTS FOR FY 2001-2002, AND RELATED MATTERS AS SET OUT IN REPORT 

    Recommended Action:  

  1. Motion to receive public testimony and casting of ballots, close the public hearing, and continue the closed hearing to May 22, 2001; and

  2. Motion to direct the City Clerk to tabulate ballots and report results at the May 22, 2001 meeting. - Continue to 5/22, 5/0

Notice of Availability of Reports

This agenda is a summary of the actions proposed to be taken by the City Council. For almost every agenda item, materials have been prepared by the City staff for the Council's consideration. These materials include staff reports which explain in detail the item before the Council and the reason for the recommendation. The materials may also include resolutions or ordinances which are proposed to be adopted. Other materials, such as maps and diagrams, may also be included. All of these materials are available at the City Clerk's Office during normal business hours for inspection and (for a fee) copying. Copies are also made available at the Antioch Public Library for inspection. Questions on these materials may be directed to the staff member who prepared them, or to the City Clerk's Office, who will refer you to the appropriate person.
